Cheryl Duncan is the Founder and CEO of the Ashley Jadine Foundation, which is dedicated to reducing the incidence and rate of suicide among young people by providing hope and support to those affected by depression and other issues. The mission of the foundation is to prevent suicide among young people through increased awareness in the community, education, scholarships, and other support services for teens, their families, and their support network. Through her work with the Ashley Jadine Foundation, Ms. Duncan is making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and their families, and is helping to create a brighter and more hopeful future for all.
Gabrielle, a senior at Summer High School, and her mother Ms. Claudette Wallace, have been adopted and sponsored by Attorney Leona Filis, Founder/CEO of Filis Law Firm, and Kathy Tatum, Founder/CEO of Collaborating Voices Foundation. This sponsorship is part of a scholarship program designed to provide financial assistance and support to high school seniors as they pursue their academic goals. Through their generous sponsorship, Attorney Filis and Ms. Tatum are helping to remove financial barriers and create opportunities for Gabrielle to succeed in her academic pursuits.
